Who are we?

Volunteers in Vietnam for Community Development (VVCD) is a Vietnamese start-up in 2015

We are a volunteer-based, non-profit organization working in Vietnam with one simple belief: small actions can create meaningful change.

Through education, care, and community connection, we support vulnerable children and adults and walk alongside local communities on their journey toward a more inclusive and positive future

By working closely with local partners, we create hands-on programs where compassion, understanding, and shared experiences truly matter.

Focus areas & Activities

Our activities are shaped by the real needs of local and rural communities across Vietnam.

We support children and young adults through foreign language education, helping them build confidence and open new doors for their future.

At the same time, we provide care, inclusive activities, and emotional support for children and adults with disabilities — creating safe spaces where everyone feels seen, valued, and respected

We also care deeply about the environment, promoting awareness and sustainable practices through community-based initiatives that encourage long-term care for our shared surroundings.

Our Prgrams

Our programs are designed for people who want to give, learn, and grow together.

We offer hands-on volunteer programs in Hanoi and nearby areas, along with meaningful charity tours that allow participants to connect directly with local communities and cultures.

Volunteers are invited to share their creativity by designing and leading educational activities for children and adults. Through these experiences, we exchange skills, stories, and perspectives — building bridges of care, understanding, and lasting connection.
